This project is an experimental editorial design project meant to focus on visual elements and typography. The goal was to create an engaging publication that balances information and aesthetics and pushes the boundaries of traditional editorial design.
My focus for this project was creativity and experimentation. I played around with images and typography in different formats and styles to create visual interest and a unique experience on each page. Balancing different styles of typography including hand-drawn lettering, bold type faces, and more elegant script was all part of the creative process. The colours used are limited to allow the imagery and visuals be the focus of the magazine.
This project was done using Adobe programs including InDesign and Photoshop, as well as both Procreate and physical hand drawn elements for some typography.
